I have this step file I got from somebody else and I have to adjust the hole sizes to fit smaller screws. I see I can transform the hole by percentage but I can’t see the current size of it. My goal would be to make the holes 2.9mm diameter. is that possible ?

Select the edge of the hole or the cylinder inside the hole and you should see the measurements at the bottom of the screen. You should be able to perform an offset face operation on the cylinder inside the hole to increase or decrease the size.
