# Folder panel: hover over item to reveal it

**The problem that this feature will solve:**  
Make it easier to find hidden items from the folder pane.

**Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:**

E.g a 3 or 4 second hover over an item item in the folder pane temporarily reveals the hidden item while hovering over it.

I would take it one step further (using the same concept) with a mouse click hold, of 3-4 seconds, that pops up a selection menu of bodies/sketches in that area (that are turned on) and be able to select something behind whatever is on top. selecting hidden objects is a pain especially when there are many many objects in that file.
