# Gap size

I am putting two parts together. How much gap should there be in between the two parts???

Are the two parts intended to slide, and come apart? 3D printed? If 3D printed, it will depend on your printer accuracy. I routinely have sliding parts printed on my FormLabs Form3, with .003 clearance. If I use my Ultimaker FDM, then .007 to .010”
