Ich habe ein Schiffsmodell in 10 Abteien konstruiert, aber das Gehäuse-tool funktioniert nicht.
Was ist zu tun?

Hi @Nonnino! How were these bodies made? There are a lot of edges that do not seem to be necessary. I guess the Shell tool fails because of them. Can you please share the Shapr3D design?

I used dxf-Files.

So sieht der DXF-import aus. Was kann ich tun, um unnötige edges zu vermneiden?

This is what DXF import looks like. What can I do to avoid unnecessary edges?

Got it! As you can see in the image, the curves have way more control points than would be necessary.

This is a regular issue with DXF files made in other software, they are converted within a given tolerance during the export. To make sure the tolerance is kept, a huge amount of control points are applied to define the shape. Please redraw them with splines in Shapr3D, it will result in much cleaner data than the imported sketches.
