Please follow the format below for requesting a feature.

**The problem that this feature will solve:**

Creating organic and optimal parts to save on weight.

**Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:**

This feature would allow for a structurally optimized body to be generated based on the location of mating faces and joints.

**What can’t you achieve without this feature?**

I am unable to create parts that are perfectly generated for both weight and strength in mind for use worth additive manufacturing.

_Is this a workflow blocker for you? Is this why you can’t use Shapr3D for work? Is this slowing you down?_

It is another reason for me to utilize a tool such as Inventor because it incorporates this into its software

Hi gamoruso, generative design is not in our focus in the near or mid term. How are you using generative design right now and what are you designing with it?

I would also be really interested in using this. It’s disappointing to hear that it’s not on your roadmap-
