# Have I lost my design?

I designed an outdoor table last summer in Shapr. I went to open that today to find that the app was no longer installed on my iPad. I don’t recall deleting it but perhaps I did by mistake. So I’ve reinstalled the app and can’t find the file. Nearly every app I have saves files in iCloud. Does this app not do that? Is there any way to retrieve the file?

Hi @anthony0, I am sorry to tell you but currently, all Shapr3D projects are stored offline on the device they were made. Removing the app results in deleting all the projects that were made on the device. However, if you had backups of the earlier stages, you can reimport them anytime.
