# Having trouble opening app with the iPadOS

Just installed the new iPadOS and the app crashes when I try to open it

Hi - I have the latest version of iPad OS installed and the app runs perfectly fine. I understand you mentioned that the app crashes when you try to load it but to better understand the issue - does the app crash when you tap on the app icon to have it loaded or does it crash when you try loading a design? Thanks for patience and I will be looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for your prompt response

I had to reinstall the app from scratch and it worked just fine. Unfortunately all my designs were lost and iCloud did not backup correctly😞.

@Victor_Shapr3D hi it’s Shapr3D in iPadOS 400mb? Because the App Store says it’s 937mb and my iPad says 400mb.

Hi Lucas, the app size is sure above 900MB. You can check for the installed app size under Settings - select Genaral, select iPad storage then scroll to Shapr3d.

Yes that’s what I have done and it says 400mb so I might reinstall it?

Hey,

No need to update about the reduced size. I’ve just confirmed it’s the same on my iPad.  
This is one of the updates of iPad OS, as you can see here.
