# Having trouble translating helix

I have created the first helix in the ”3d modeling padlock” video you guys have put up but i cant copy translate it to the other end of the long helix. I dont know what im doing wrong and apparently the video doesnt seem to do anything either. The pop up says ”Transform operation failed because it would not create a valid body
Please help as fast as possible.

Make sure you select the small helix body by double clicking on it or selecting it at the item list. I’m guessing that you only selected a surface of the helix in which case you would get the error as you stated.

Omg, thanks.
Really annoying that the solution was so easy, but good to know that i hadnt Done something wrong.
I guess another solution would be to manually create the new ond as the first wasnt that hard.
