# Help with edge

Hello,

I’m learning but I’m facing something difficult, I would like to make same edge but it don’t work. I need the yellow line to stay, and having the same curve  
Can you help me please ?  
(Sorry english is not my main langage)

Looks like the problem is somewhere in your initial object. Hard to say anything without seeing it.

I think the problem they are having is there sketch isn’t symmetrical?

It need to be non symmetrical, I try to recreate this piece first (the rest will be harder 🥲)

Hi, try to make the chamfer profile sketch and do a sweep using the curve. Subtract the new body with from the original. Here is a video example of what I’am trying to say. Hope it helps, if not, let me know more about it to see if I can help.

Managed to do it with just translating the edge directly up and down
