# High Contrast in Dark Mode

**The problem that this feature will solve:**

_I personally, and I think a lot of other users mostly use Dark Mode in Shapr3d. But, as we have a preference for dark / black materials or it is needed for a design, we will use those too. But, the black edges which are nicely visible in Light Mode and with bright materials, simply disappear. The same applies for sketch planes - almost invisible._

_This is why I would suggest automatically switching to lighter / darker edges based on the color of applied materials._

Here is a small comparison of loght and black materials (not including Hidden Edges):
