# High idle CPU cycles

I’ve noticed that Shapr3D seems to consume relatively high CPU cycles, even when idle - that is, even when not interacting with the app. This is true, even when there is no model open (just the app open to the home screen). This really burns through my battery. Can the team do something about this?
