# How do I create a slope?

I’m very new to all this so sorry to be a bother, but could anyone help me with creating a slope from the top shape to the middle? I’m trying to create a Diamond model to reference when I draw but I’m having trouble. I’m not familiar with some of the terminology used to describe the features as I’m new but any help is great appreciated!

Hi Olivia! Welcome to the forum!  
How will you like the Slope to be positioned - at least for me it’s not very clear.

Do you have an image or paper sketch you can show to help us understand better.

Basically a 3D version of this,

Hi!  
Use extrude tool.  
Set the height, then you can set sides angle
