# How do I create this hexagonal parting line in Shapr3D?

Hi there,

I’m trying to create this hexagonal parting line that looks like the image shown in the attached. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Use the Move-Rotate tool on the side walls.

A raised wall also works making the hex parting line. After making four rotated copies, do a **Union**. In my initial example, I used **Intersect**.

Wow I didn’t know you could move/rotate angles like that! I figured out how to do it with a chamfer but the angles aren’t as custom to the degree. Thank you so much!
