# How do I make this chamfer angled?

I am trying to design an insert for this organizer tray and I cannot figure out how to angle the chamfer inwards like the photo of the yellow object. Any help on achieving this would be greatly appreciated.

Here’s one of many ways to create a chamfered recess. Note that the construction plane used to receive a projected sketch is 10 units away from the intended surface.

Another way to do what you want is to use the bottom surface to add an offset plane to and sketch your recesses to extrude the indentations into your container.

You can also use “sketch” to draw on any flat face without needing a plane.

FWIW, here’s a quick way to duplicate recesses using the **Pattern** and **Intersect** tools.
