# How do I slice this body

Hey all, hope everyone’s doing great and having an awesome Friday. I need to slice this body into why would equate to 2 L shapes. Each time I try I end up making four pieces. I’ve been choosing the face as my slice origin and that just goes all the way through said face. Any idea how to make this thing cut just one direction? Thanks in advance.

You cannot make the cut the way you want to. Just cut it as before making the four pieces. Then Union the upper left and lower right corners.

Split body, you get four pieces, then union two bodies to make L shape
