I am building a roller to break in slot cars. I have a basic drawing in shapr3d of the top and the roller. How do I use the roller to remove material from the top? The roller will be turned from aluminum. The roller will ride in bearings that can be attached to the top. Just trying to get the basics figured out. Not sure what parts may be 3d printed yet.

You can project the surface of the cylinder to the top of the chassis. The dims will be the length of the cylinder and the diameter. I would do an **Offset Loop** to provide clearance. Then extrude the oversized rectangle to the chassis and bring up the roller accordingly.
