I made a modification to one of my designs and I want to go back to a previous version to view one of the dimensions I changed. I don’t want to roll back my file to the old version permanently, I just want to view it, then come back and continue editing.

I thought maybe duplicating the file would allow me to do so in a non-destructive way by rolling back the duplicate to see the value and then continuing to edit the original design file but I quickly realized that duplicating a file does not preserve its original history. I do not have any restore points on the duplicate.

How can I do this without losing work?
