# How do I?

Total newby here and trying to run before I walk. I’m doing pretty good figuring things out and have been watching every video I can get my hands on. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to get part A to wrap around part B. It’s for a tiny Victorian style sofa. This original drawing was made in Illustrator, not that that makes a difference. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I get that. My problem is having to work with flat construction planes and a curved base. Projecting it doesn’t work. It was suggested that I split the back piece into sections and go from there. I’m open to other ideas.

Thank you! That’s very close to what I had sort of figured out on my own. It’s nice to have confirmation that I was heading in the right direction. This definitely gives me something to work with.
