# How to add text to round surfaces

Please help, is it possible to add text to round surfaces?

I need to mark a created pipe.

It sure is. Add the text, then position the sketch plane that is created so that it’s aligned with the surface you want to add the text to, and then select the sketch plane and the surface and use the “[Project](https://support.shapr3d.com/hc/en-us/articles/4413345874962-What-does-the-Project-tool-do-)” tool.

The current text editing function is really too difficult to move accurately around, which is why the round text function needs to be upgraded! Importing and exporting from PC seriously affects the user’s experience.
