# How to create organic shapes?

I’m trying to recreate this staff and I’m currently struggling with the middle part. I’m trying with loft and guided rails, but I’m having a lot of issues with the rails. Any suggestions?

Break it up into littler sections and boolean add them together?

Quick and dirty. I revolved some bodies, used the offset tool on the top face, extruded that, used the move tool to tilt the top of others faces and offset and extruded in slight different direction. Copied a body off to the side and scaled it down, then sliced the first body and then moved the reduced copy back into place. Fun stuff.

Thanks for the suggestion ! Im giving a try but im still struggling a bit. I guess i gotta give it more time. I still struggle with rails and loft.
