# How to export in dxf or pdf file format from sketch or body

Hi All,

I need to create a dxf or pdf file from my sketch or body to send to my laser cutter. I am failing to accomplish this simple task. I sure it is straight forward but I’m not seeing it.

Is the sketch visible? Shapr will not export hidden sketches.
