# How to fill a face without lines

Hi Team, I am fairly new at this. I have created something that I shelled and I want to fill the top without having lines when I print.

1 - How can I create a face that does not have lines to only fill a few MM off the gap that I created using shell? I don’t want to fill the entire gap I just want to close it.
