# How to import dimensions into Shapr3d?

Is there a way to directly import wing airfoil dimensions into Shapr3d? hereby I mean importing the x,y,z coordinates; This method is possible on some CAD softwares such as Fusion360 and SolidWorks by importing the x,y,z coordinates in txt file. This [YouTube video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGUq4j0xHx0) shows how it is imported into SolidWorks.

Any help is much appreciated!

**Update** : I have found [this answer](https://discourse.shapr3d.com/t/import-of-x-y-coordinates/4636) in the forum, but regretfully it’s not the optimal solution (it requires the use of a second CAD software along Shapr3D).
