Hello,

I have a need which I have solved in a way that does not seem optimal. I have a shell which I am trying to combine with another body, while preserving the shell.

Using this model linked [Shapr3D Webviewer](https://collaborate.shapr3d.com/v/SkIxP20dqqsrj2MAVH_DM) as a reference.

I would like to join the hollow triangle with solid and be left with the two objects combined, but the triangle still hollow.

Right now I am subtracting the triangle, deleting the remaining body, and then copying the hollow triangle back and doing a union.

Is there a better way to accomplish this task?

Thanks,
Karl

Take the triangle and subtract but keep the removed body.

Once removed delete the left over part and union
