# How to view length of extrude on a hole?

Hi there its my first day using Shapr3D , I am struggling a little bit with editing the depth of a hole on a model. In inverter you would select the wall of the hole and you could find the edit hole which would show the depth of the hole and the field to modify.

Also is extrusion the only way to make a hole is Shapr3D?

At moment only extrude make holes  
Try sketching the hole on a shape surface  
Or use translate if it was spherical surface

Extrude inside the shape and do math
