# I can’t open a design without the app crashing and closing

I open a design I made without it crashing the app I’ve been working on this design for quite a while and would at least want to be able to recover some of the models in it

Please share the design in .shapr file format with us in a [support ticket](https://support.shapr3d.com/hc/en-us/requests/new); we’ll check it as soon as possible. Some further information would be helpful:

I’ve got exactly the same problem. My model starts to open and then suddenly crashes. Is this model recoverable? If so how?
