# I have been forced to share my designs to the cloud! (it appears)

Hi, I’ve just logged on to Shapr3D and (it appears) I have been forced to share my designs to the cloud! I only work on the iPad and prefer to leave my designs on my iPad Pro only. For now anyway. My iPad is brand new and the second iPad Pro I have ever owned after the first generation iPad Pro.

Hi Ben,  
no need to worry, your designs were not shared to the cloud. I believe what you encountered was our design linking process. This simply connects the designs on your device to your account. The designs continue to exist locally, on your device only. I am sorry to hear that the info you received was not clear enough on this.

Additionally, our cloud features are not yet released. Once they are, you’ll have the option to choose whether to enable the cloud or not.
