I keep losing pinch to zoom and/or return to select and/or backspace to delete

I think there is an issue whereby the following keyboard features intermittently stop working:

  • pinch to zoom
  • return to select
  • backspace to delete an entity

M2 Macbook Air, 24GB, 512GB, Version 5.281.0 (4528), single key action: command search.
