# I’ve been demoted

I decided not to renew my subscription. I’d imagined the free license would let me export my designs in some vaguely usable format, but it seems only 3D printer formats are available. Many companies are reluctant to appear to be holding one’s work hostage in this situation. Comment?

Hi, currently we don’t have a solution for this, but thanks for bringing this to our attention. Currently the best way to do this is to subscribe for a month and export your designs.

Why not change the licensing so that Pro simply unlocks the ability to create and edit designs beyond the free tier limit.
Things you’ve _already_ created should not be locked behind a paywall simply because you decided to stop subscribing.
