# If You Duplicate a Project Then Delete a Body From It, Will The Original Project Be Affected?

If I duplicate a Shapr project and then I delete one or more bodies from the copy, will those bodies ALSO be deleted from the original project?

I assumed that would not be the case, i.e.—that only the copy would be affected– but now I’m not so sure.

Easy way to test that would be to make a project with 2 bodies, duplicate it and then delete one body. Then check.

Short answer is - No. Duplication make a copy without any relations to the original.
