I converted an STL (well, a part comprising many STLs) to STEP in a certain CAD package beginning with F from company A and imported it in to Shapr3D. A few of the bodies show up as “Bodies”, not “MeshBodies” and have a pentagon icon, instead of the iso cube. These don’t have wireframes, and cannot be fully edited.

What’s going on here, and how do I fix it?

Fusion360 only handles fairly simple conversions. If it can’t convert to BRep, it’ll convert to an intermediate mesh format.

So some shapes had geometry that was too complex to convert properly?
