Is there a way to increase the length of a construction axis after you have created it?

@MrJeffreyGee
My MO would be to create a Cylinder based on the same Axis, then Extrude/Drag the Cylinder to the required New Axis Length.
Hide the previous Axis, Add \> Construction Axis [through Cylinder or Cone].
When sure the New aligns withe the Old Axis, Delete Old Axis and the Cylinder.

You can use the Transform/Scale tool
