I’m really happy to announce that it’s the first time that I design the intracranial stent (to treat intracranial aneurysms) from 0 to 100 in Shapr3D, previously done in a combination of other traditional CAD softwares. Here is an animation of blood flow simulation after implantation of the stent in the brain artery suffering from aneurysm (stent shown in pink). I’d like to thank Shapr3D effortless men and their nice dreams to change lives. But keep in mind guys the app must resolve recent and also previously talked issues.

Bravo Hamed! Great to see that you did all of this in Shapr3d.

I am curious. How is the physical stent constructed? Thin wires over a mandrel?

Inquiring minds, you know…

Best,

Tommy

Thanks dear Tommy!

Yes in practice, (as in contrast to my virtual production and implantation of the stent), the wires (48 or more) are interwoven together with the aid of a mandrel. Below you can see a mechanism of it. Ref: [http://www.phenox.net/company.html](http://www.phenox.net/company.html)
