# iPad - Construction plane at an angle along an edge not working?

I am trying to create a construction plane along an edge at an angle, but I can’t make it work on my iPad Pro. Steps to reproduce:

1. Select _Add \> Construction Plane_;
2. Change to _Type \> Along Edge at Angle_;
3. Select any edge;
4. Click on Next.

At this point, according to the tutorial video, a plane should appear with a tool to select the angle, but nothing happens.

I tried to kill and restart the app a couple of times, but there is no difference.

I am using a 5th gen iPad Pro (M1), the latest version of Shapr3d, and the latest (non beta) version of iPadOS 26.

After your step 4 you have to select pivot plane.

That tutorial video is old, also not sure why they introduced more steps compared to the video.

I reported it while back.

Thank you for the link (I should have done a better search before posting…), I didn’t notice that I could select a plane after the edge, worked perfectly.
