# iPad Pen Sensitivity is driving me crazy

In Modeling mode, the app is WAY too sensitive, instantly selecting everything when I’m just trying to grab a plane.

In Visualization mode, it’s fine — select a plane, and it stays put. I can soft double-tap to select all with no problem.

This bug has been around for a while.

Anyone else struggling with this?

Hi,

You are not alone on this issue 😬 So there is a solution that I have found works for me. It is not Shapr3D but rather the pencil. go into your pencil setting and deselect pretty much everything. You should see a considerable improvement 😀 This was previously covered under Apple Pencil posts.

Hi Dave,

Thanks so much for your help.

In my Apple pen settings I had most of them turned off, except for “Only draw with Apple Pencil”, so I turned that off as well and, though the issue it’s not completely fixed, I started seeing improvements.
