# Is it possible for me to make an outlayer for my gear in my ID4?

like words above, i wanna make an stretch stick sticked to my gear in my car. how could i realize this idea efficently with shapr3D?

Take as many measurements as possible. Ideally, take good photos from different angles at straight (90-degree) views. Based on the measurements and photos, model the desired shape in Shapr3D. Print it with a 3D printer and test the fit. Make adjustments to the model and reprint until everything fits perfectly.

Or just use a 3D scanner instead.

You can try Silicon Mold and cut the mold to get the cross section.

Sketchfab has pretty much all car models and you can buy 😉 some of them or use it for your reference, it even has detailed interior.
