# Is there a way to create folders to organize my designs?

We can’t give you an exact ETA, but the layout changes you see in the recent app versions are to prepare for it, it’s in the works.

Priorities change, so does roadmaps. We have released a gazillion improvements and additions in Shapr in the last 4 years, but not folders.

I have good news for you, one of our teams is already working on this feature so we expect it to release it in July 📂 🙂 📂

Please, let it be more like tags and not folders where a design can only be in one location.

Really looking forward to this, after several years using shapr now, it will be amazing to finally get some order within the app.

While we’re on the subject, it would also be good to be able to edit the file name where it is displayed at the top of an open drawing-

I have to give credit to the Shapr3D team. They listen to us and do their best to give us the functions/options we ask for, when it is possible to do so.  
Moving the undo button back to its original place and in a very short time was a very good example of commitment to us.  
Folders has been requested for ages and was one of those technically difficult and very time consuming tasks to accomplish. Now it’s just around the corner.

Any idea when? This program is very unwieldy when you have a lot of work and no way to keep it in order.

We aim to start releasing folders with the next version, scheduled for October 24th 🤞

However, there is still a slight risk of a further delay due to a couple of blocker bugs that need to be fixed before the release.
