Not sure if I’m doing something wrong here or if I stumbled on a bug.

I want to wrap this cell design on the cylinder. I checked that all shapes are closed and continuous, every cell is individually selectable. However, the moment i hit the wrap & emboss tool, one of the cells (always the same one) behaves like it’s not a closed loop shape and does not get projected.

I checked that one multiple times and I can’t find fault with it.

Am I missing something? It only behaves like that with the wrap&emboss tool. I can extrude that cell by itself, I just can’t wrap it. If I try to do it the other way round and select all the cells instead of the space around them, the same issue occurs with that cell.

Can you upload the project file?

In my case, it immediately refuses to recognize the sketch as a closed loop.

Huh… that’s strange. Let me restart Shapr and see if I then get the same behavior as you..

Edit: oh yeah! After A restart I get the same as you! wow…

Yeah, I don’t get it. I checked every point on that cell and they’re all connected. 🤔

Maybe I’ll just hand-draw a new one and see what happens.

Well, I believe this is a bug. Just in case here is workaround.

Thanks Alex, I came to the same conclusion.

I also re-drew the cell and got it working now. 👍
