While I do appreciate the icons next to items names, would it be possible to make them different colors for quicker recognition? Or possibly, show how which sketches and objects are linked together?

The white on white on white tends to blur together as you are scanning for an item in the list. Could, for instance, the icons for sketches be red, models - green, planes - yellow… ? Something like that? I know the list can be filtered by item type, but when multiple types are needing to be selected it may prove easier than refiltering the menu multiple times to grab everything.

Also, possibly, somehow showing in the Items Menu which items are linked? Through icon on the right side or the entire item tab being auto-color-coded… this way sketches that define objects don’t get accidentally deleted.

Or maybe even a designation for which item is the mother-object of sub-objects.

I may be missing something (like extended training) or something obvious that I’m not seeing. I’m not trying to be critical, just trying to help improve an already great product. If there’s something out there that covers some or all of these points, please feel free to pint me in the right direction.

While you are at it, can you pass the message on to the rest of the world? Who are these people who don’t need to see any details on buttons, icons, sliders, window borders and so on?

I’d like to see user defined color coding (in File/setup) for Variables, Sketches, fillets, extrusions etc in the “history panel” and similarly in the “items panel”.

Bump! 😆
