# Items panel - quick slide selection on ipad

**The problem that this feature will solve:**

_Quick hold and slide action to select/deselect layers (sketches and solids) in the items panel._

**Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:**

_This feature should allow me to hold and slide down/up to quickly select/deselect layers on the iPad. Divide the touch actions in the Items panel where the icon area doesn’t scroll the items but selects multiple layers when holding and sliding down/up with your finger/pencil._

Keep the click select action on the item names area.

**What can’t you achieve without this feature?**

_It is slowing me down to constantly click and select/deselect each layer._
