# Iteration and Design Workflow

I’ve been using Shapr3D for about 4 months and I am still figuring out my workflow. The lack of folders (I know it’s coming, soonish) has made me think about how I iterate through different versions of a design. In the beginning I would create a design and then duplicate it. But now I have decided to just get to a point of the design and make a copy and slide it over.

What are others doing? I would guess in the future with folders I would go back to creating duplicates of designs. 🤷‍♂️

In direct modelling, the flow you are doing works usually the best. Sometimes there are 60+ variations in one workspace for me too.
