# Label on bottle

Hello, I am looking to reproduce a 3d model of my bottle.
So I created this modest model which is not very well made but now I would like to put my label on the main cylinder, after a lot of research I can’t find any info to make it. I think I can do it on other software but of which I have no knowledge

The best you can do is to slice the label into thin vertical strips, rotate each strip so that it’s tangent to the bottle at angles around the circumference of the bottle, and use the Project tool. The thinner the strip, the less the distortion will be.

It’s an idea that I like, my label is 12 cm long, taking a 1 mm piece would give me 120 cuts, I’m going to try
