# Library and symbols panel

**The problem that this feature will solve:**

_Library - Can easily import parts from a different shapr3d file. Symbols - Can easily sync/edit same part across files and drawings. Symbols are clones of the original._

**Brief description of the outcomes that you expect from this feature:**

_Drag drop models/parts from a different file and edit an original part that is cloned._

**What can’t you achieve without this feature?**

It takes far longer to save and import a native file than opening a panel with all shaper3d projects and drag them out (it will be great to select layers too)

Library feature finally here! Thanks. Now I can split projects into parts, the app was slowing down at some point. Now symbols feature 😃 please, were imported drawings syncs with the original.
