# Loft between two rings doesn’t create

Hi all,

I have a use case where I need to create a loft between two rings. Currently this doesn’t work. Is this a bug?

No, this is how lofting works. To achieve what you want, loft the inner parts then loft the outer parts, then subtract the inner part.

Just a little context: it would be impossible to define this behavior in most of the cases, eg. what happens if one of the profiles have 2 holes, the other profiles just one, etc. This is why this is not done automatically.

What i do in these cases: I split both rings with a parallel line, then I loft 2 half rings and the other 2 half rings and than i add the bodies.
