In v2 of the software you could draw a line and then “pull” the line and extrude it into a plane.
In v3 after you draw a line and you highlight it, it moves the line and I am unable to extrude
a plane. I found being able to extrude lines into planes to be a valuable tool in certain applications.
Is there away to replicate the line extrusion process in v3?

Thanks in advance for your help!

The reason why we removed that feature is that

1. moving sketches is much more intuitive that way
2. you had very little control over that plane
3. construction planes are much more powerful

So basically the answer is to use construction planes 🙂 Add(+)-\>Plane

Thanks for the info Istvan. Are there any tutorials for using the construction plane feature yet?

Here is the support page for the construction geometries: [https://support.shapr3d.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001857065-Construction-geometry](https://support.shapr3d.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001857065-Construction-geometry)

We don’t have detailed video tutorials for cg yet, only the short ones on the support page ☹

Many thanks my friend!
