# Lost work!

My drawing has just vanished. Several hours work. How can I retrieve it?

Hello, designs are saved to your device locally and if it was accidentally deleted it can not be retrieved. If you backup or save your files to iCloud, you can please try following the instructions on this article on retrieving iCloud deleted files:

Sorry to hear that you lost your work. In the past, I decided to re-do the same design and found that it went much faster than the first time. So hopefully this will work out…
