# Make two faces parallel

Hi,

I have to adjacent faces of an object that are almost parallel. Is there an easy way to make them really parallel? Reason is the 3d Printer will print steps on a long surface that is not really parallel.

Hi Peter\_b

Here is a way:

- remove the fillet on the surface you want to edit
- create a construction plane **parallel to surface at point**
- replace face using this construction plane as reference face
- re-create the fillets
