# Measuring tool add edit

While I do architectural work, this enhancement to the tape measure is a game changer anyone doing ordinate based precision modeling.

Allow editing of measurements;  
provide a toggle on each side indicating which side moves.

Allow for the measured planes/lines/points to be moved together to allow accurate positioning.

Perhaps more strategically - this could be an entry point for impositioning saved objects from shared, stored, reused objects.

This is a typical feature in a graphics program for impositioning objects with step and repeat. It would be a very simple, but powerful enhancement to shapr3d. It would drastically accelerate design
