# More Contrast for Button Highlighting in "Dark Mode"

Problem: When using “Dark Mode” of the UI in Sketch mode, there is too little contrast between the button/option/tool that’s activated and the ones that aren’t.

Basically, it’s not obvious at a glance what tool is activated, because the greys are too similar.

It would be helpful if the buttons or mode that was active was blatantly obvious at a casual glance-- using a much lighter grey color, or even an actual highlight color like neon green or something along those lines.

The attached screencap illustrates this issue; I find it hard to tell that “Trim” mode is the one currently engaged.
