# Moving on from Sketch up but confused out dimensions

I am working on splines that I then extrude and from there select the bottom face to rescale. When I attemp to figure out the dimensions on the form length width and height I can’t seem to be able to get anything… I need to check dimensions as I working on a coffe table base… totally green at this program but loving it so far

Hi Daniel, I am essentially looking to be able to indicate various dimensions in the model in order for a fabricator to read and reproduce
